Which tint shade is right for you?
Tint is measured in VLT, visible light transmission: the share of light that gets through. A lower number means darker glass. 70% is barely there, 5% is limo dark.
Every shade is the same nano ceramic film, so heat and UV protection are about the same across all five. You're choosing the look and the privacy.

70%
Clear
Barely tinted. You get the heat and UV rejection without the darker look.
50%
Light
A light smoke. Easy night visibility, noticeably cooler cabin.
35%
Classic
Our most popular shade. Dark enough for privacy, still easy to see out at night.
15%
Dark
Strong privacy from the outside. Check your state's limit for front windows.
5%
Limo
The darkest we cut. Most states only allow it behind the driver.
Quick picks
- Daily driver, legal up front
- 35% or 50% on the front windows. Most states allow one of them; check yours.
- Match factory privacy glass
- Front Sides kit in 15% or 35%. Most SUVs and trucks already have dark glass in the back.
- Heat, not looks
- 70%. It barely looks tinted, but the ceramic film still blocks the heat and UV.
- Maximum privacy
- 5% or 15% on the rear windows and rear glass, with a lighter shade on the fronts.
Check your state's tint law
Every state sets its own limit, usually strictest for the front side windows and the windshield. Look up your state's current rule (your DMV or state police site has it) before choosing a shade for the front. Some states allow medical exemptions.
